Having made her way back to her hometown of Neversink in the early 2000s after living in Binghamton, Buffalo and Brooklyn, Allison Ruef has worked in public relations, journalism, communications, and development throughout Sullivan County. A graduate of Binghamton University with a bachelor’s degrees in Early American History and Law and Society, Allison recently spent a summer as the Assistant Director of the Time and the Valleys Museum in Grahamsville, NY, a museum dedicated to telling the story of the New York City watershed and surrounding areas. Allison is also the secretary of the Neversink Fire District and enjoys hiking, camping and spending time at her family’s campground and farm on the Neversink River with her husband Martin and their two daughters, Elena and Abigail.
