Maribeth is the Business Manager of Frost Valley YMCA. She is a recent addition to our team and comes to Frost Valley as a transplant from Northern Michigan, although she is a native to Illinois.
Her first personal connection to the Y was in 2010 in West Bend Wisconsin,which prompted her to conduct a national search for a position within the organization. This led her to accept the position of Finance and Human Resource Director for the State YMCA of Michigan. It is in this position where Maribeth became familiar with resident camp, day camp and the intricacies of a trip camp as well as experiencing the advocacy of the YMCA mission.
Maribeth has a BS degree in Business Administration from William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri. Her business experience led her to develop, own and manage a Corporate Contract Catering company in Chicago for several years. Always holding a passion for horses she had the opportunity to work for two international dressage trainers and then taught and trained dressage in Illinois. Maribeth has a love for nature and the arts and is enjoying exploring all the trails and cultural events that the area has to offer.
