The Adirondack Day hikers are off to a great start!  Both trails (yesterdays and todays) have started off fairly easy, through beautiful terrain and then gotten a lot harder in the last mile for a good push for each group member.  Yesterday they did Ampersand Mountain, near Saranac Lake and today they did Mount Van Hovenburg.  The campsite has been great and the group has been entertaining themselves with songs, stories and friendly chatter throughout each hike.  Everyone is very pumped about tackling Algonquin tomorrow, their hardest hike to date!
