AdVill Mini-Trips!!

Mini-trips are all out and about! Just wanted to give a quick up-date to anyone reading from home.

Our bikers are happy and content.

Our backpackers are on the trail and enjoying the sunshine (it started off rainy, but everything’s clearing up!).

Climbers for the first time in three sessions have actually climbed two days straight (last two sessions have had thunder storms on at least one day!), and will hopefully climb tomorrow (weather permitting!!).

Canoers aren’t actually canoeing this time around. Due to the amount of rain prior to the trip, the water level was too high for our group. So our canoers are enjoying staying in Worthington State Park, hiking, and visiting an old, deserted village near the Delaware River!

Mini trips will all return back to camp tomorrow afternoon/evening!

Born and raised in Wisconsin, Zach couldn't keep himself out of the woods when growing up. He started working at a Northern Wisconsin YMCA Camp as a wilderness trip leader while in college and fell in love with getting kids into nature. The smiles on kids faces after returning from a once in a life time wilderness experience is why he is here today. Zach brought his talents to Frost Valley YMCA, in 2014, when he started as the Trips Coordinator and soon was promoted to Adventure Director. Zach loves all forms of Wilderness exploration, though some would say his heart lies most with canoeing.
