AdVill Overnight!!
Sorry for the lack of post and pictures last night! Adventure Village braved the heat and hiked up and over the mountain for a quick stop at the Farm before continuing on their journey to Merrel’s Pavillion. Yes – it was very hot here to (high 90s!) – and out campers went out with plenty of water, and were hiking along streams to cool off their feet if needed! I visited the group last night at their overnight site and everyone was enjoying rolling down the hill in their sleeping bag, playing cards, watching the sunset and cooking pita pizzas over the fire!! All were in good spirits – although many mentioned the hike was long and they were happy they were at Merrel’s.
Check back later today for more overnight details, pictures and an update on today’s activities!

He started working at a Northern Wisconsin YMCA Camp as a wilderness trip leader while in college and fell in love with getting kids into nature. The smiles on kids faces after returning from a once in a life time wilderness experience is why he is here today. Zach brought his talents to Frost Valley YMCA, in 2014, when he started as the Trips Coordinator and soon was promoted to Adventure Director. Zach loves all forms of Wilderness exploration, though some would say his heart lies most with canoeing.
