And they’re back!

As of yesterday, almost all of our Adventure campers are back on camp! They filtered back in over the last two days, with smiles on their faces and bursting with stories to share. They spent yesterday packing in, getting some rest, and reuniting with their friends from other trips.

Last night Adventure Village celebrated the return with a ceremony filled with skits and stories – celebrating both the accomplishments and the lessons learned on trail. Tonight all of Adventure will come together for a relaxing Cook-Out followed by our typical Closing Campfire, where counselors have the chance to reflect on their amazing session all together.

It’s been an incredible first session – we can’t believe tomorrow is already the last day!

Russell Frisch

Russell started his time at Frost Valley as a camper in Forest Village in 2005 and has been here ever since. He was a camper in Adventure Village, Farm Camp, and on Teen Adventure Trips before becoming an AiT and eventually a staff member in Adventure Village. He worked as the Village Coordinator for Adventure Village before working as the Assistant Adventure Director for two summers. He is very excited to be working as Adventure Director for the first time this year.
