Great programs for kids on school break!

Looking for something for your kids to do when they are on break from school? Frost Valley YMCA’s Day Camp Program offers Break Camps in the fall, winter, and spring. Daily activities include many fun things including arts and crafts, sports and games, rock climbing, snow tubing, cross-country skiing and broomball in the winter.

 

Spring Break Day Camp

March 26-30, 2018
Ages 4-15. Daily transportation, lunch, and snacks provided at no additional fee.

Daily Activities:
Hiking, sports and games, candle making, Incredible Edibles (classes in our Teaching Kitchen) and climbing are just a few Frost Valley favorites. Weather permitting, campers take an offsite trip to a local pool. Spring Break Day Campers can also experience a tour of the Maple Sugar House to taste maple syrup and learn how it’s made, plus visit the Frost Valley Farm to meet and pet baby animals! Outdoor activities and field trips are weather-dependent and subject to change.

What to bring:
Extra clothes, water bottle, sturdy laced shoes.

NEW:
Spring Break Horse Day Camp

March 26-30, 2018
Grades Pre-K – 2 (minimum age 4)
Daily transportation, lunch, and snacks provided at no additional fee.

Announcing a new one-week camp during your child’s spring break! This engaging program is designed to give children a chance to learn new skills, re-unite with camp friends (including our horses!) and make new ones! Taking place at Frost Valley’s East Valley Ranch, campers will spend half the day learning about grooming, horse care, and how much fun horses can be! The remainder of the day will be filled with our signature camp activities such as arts & crafts, games, climbing and Flying Squirrel. Designed for campers who have never ridden a horse as well as campers with plenty of experience around horses! Transportation is available. Horseback riding will be weather dependent.

What to bring:
Campers should come ready to ride, wearing long pants that cover the ankle, and sturdy sneakers or boots. Bring extra clothes and water bottle.
