East Valley Ranch – Opening Camp Fire & Evaluation Rides!
The rain will not get us down here at East Valley Ranch!
We had an amazing opening campfire on Sunday night after the girls arrived – with S’Mores, singing, dancing, gymnastics, and skits… A grand welcome to the summer for the girls of EVR.
Because we are hard core Barn Girls, the girls put on their rain jackets and went out to the arenas to show us their skills under saddle for EVALUATION RIDES. Yep – we ride rain or shine here at EVR :). We also had a great night doing paper-bag skits in the living room, where the girls have to make a skit out of some random items they are given in a paper bag! See pictures on smugmug.com
This morning at breakfast, the girls were assigned their very own horse for the two/four weeks that they will be here! We match riders to horses that will both challenge them and give them the confidence to grow with their abilities. We also put them in riding lessons based on their ability with one of our many amazing Instructors from all around the world.
Today should be a great day and we are determined not to let mother nature get us down! Yay! Ultimate Sicko Ball is tonight’s evening program. See smugmug tomorrow for the latest pictures.
