Second week for the 4-weekers has been busy as preparations are now underway for the drill team which the girls will all ride in before they leave in week 4. After watching the staff perform in a drill team for evening program, the girls have been getting their thinking caps on and planning their own drill team, including coming up with a theme and music to ride to. On Wednesday the girls got to see how join up works in the round pen and over the next week everyone will have the opportunity to  join up for themselves with one of the horses from the barn. This is definitely one of the girls' favorite ground lessons as it allows them to build a connection with one of the horses. On Wednesday evening, EVR invited Mustang over for dinner and evening program. The girls really enjoyed meeting the other horse program and fun was had by all as everyone joined in for a giant game Indian Chief followed by SPLAT. Today the girls have started teaching their ground lessons which they have been working on. Its impressive seeing how much knowledge these girls have regarding horses and its awesome to see them sharing that knowledge with each other.  After Lunch we played USB in the Sunshine followed by Chicken in a Hen-House which involves working with your partner to do the best impressions you can. The girls are now just preparing to get in the saddle for their riding lessons.
