Fourth of July Celebration!

The Hird joined the other programs today for our all-camp fourth of July celebration (held on the 3rd of July, naturally!). After sleeping in and indulging in a decadent ice-cream-tastic brunch, the campers rooted for their counselors in the annual U.S. vs. The World staff soccer game. The afternoon was spent traveling to different countries and learning about new cultures (traveling across Filreis field from booth to booth, that is!). Not to mention a special appearance by an inflatable bouncy castle and a firetruck hose to cool us down. The day ended with an all-camp talent show that was silly enough to inspire the Tacoma Lenape faces in this photo!
