BERRY BOATS AND BROWN SHEEP
Thursday got off to a wonderful start for Farm Camp. For breakfast we had homemade blueberry pancakes with blueberries from the garden. Yum!
Today during first specialty…
Barn specialty got to take a sheep named Chocolate on a walk around camp. Each camper took a turn holding Chocolate’s leash and Chocolate got to see our boating pond for the first time in her life.
Lord of the rings specialty went on a hunt through the cascades for Gollum and they had to answer riddles before they could continue their journey.
Garden specialty talked about pests and harvested raspberries. Then they used cardboard to build boats for their raspberries as a creative way to measure how much they had harvested.
Crazy games participated in a scavenger hunt and then they played camouflage, which is hide and seek with a twist.
Cooking made kale chips and enjoyed music.
Tonight all the campers and counselors are on their overnight. They are split into four groups and are camping at various sites throughout the Frost Valley property. Once they arrive at their campsites they will build fires, enjoy pita pizzas and s’mores, and relax under the stars.
