Every year the natural resources department hosts three 3D archery events at Frost Valley. These events are open to the public for the price of $20 for adults and $8 for children under the age of 12. They are free of charge for Frost Valley outdoor sporting participants and lunch is included for everyone! They offer a fun filled Saturday for anyone who loves archery. Guests are asked to bring their own archery equipment for shooting the course. The 3D archery course consists of a ½ mile loop trail with 28 three dimensional targets along the way. We even have a stegosaurus target! Shots for various skill levels are marked with color coded stakes and score cards are available for anyone who wants to get competitive.

The first 3D shoot this year was on August 26th and was tons of fun! Don’t worry if you missed the first one, we still have 2 more coming up this month. The next one will be on September 9th and the final shoot is on September 30th.  Both events will be from 9am to 2pm. Our course is located approximately 1 mile west of the main entrance on Frost Valley Road. Look for a large “Build Strong” sign across from a blue house. Signage will be posted for the events. Hope to see you there!
