Did someone say ADK Rambler?

Dear Journal,

I can’t wait for climbing tomorrow. We will be climbing for the next two days. Most of use have never climbed before, but are excited to try something new. We have spent the past week on (or in) the water and are ready to dry out…

We just got back from canoeing and the lakes were spectacular. We started out at Fallsby Clear Pond and navigated our way around the area. I didn’t expect the portaging to be so difficult, but in the end it was very rewarding. It’s amazing to think that we carried everything we need (including our canoes) from one lake to the next.

With all this rain, the flies & mosquitoes can be pretty intense at times. My rain jacket with high socks seem to do the trick. Happy 4th of July. I hope we see some fireworks. I can’t wait to develop my photos.
