EAST VALLEY RANCH SESSION ONE BEGINS!!
We had been experiencing a few difficulties with our 2014 blog but we have resolved them all now and are ready to fill your days with tales of East Valley Ranch!
Last night, we welcomed the girls with a delicious Pizza dinner, cooked by our wonderful Chef, Brendan. Followed by our OPENING CAMP FIRE to celebrate the start of Session One 2014.
We sang a TON of campfire songs, some traditional favorites and some new ones too. The staff performed a few hilarious skits for the campers, and then we handed it over to each yurt to perform as a group or individually! We had some songs, some skits and a whole lot of very brave girls performing beautiful solos for us! We even had one play the Ukelele and sing!
Today marked the first official day of the session. We call it Evaluation Day here, but basically all it is, is a chance for the girls to learn about the barn, meet the horses and show us their skills!
Tonight, our evening program is PAPER BAG SKITS, check back tomorrow to see how it went!
