EVR 2-Week: Arts & Crafts, Splat and Riding!
Despite the rain the 2 week girls have been having plenty of fun at camp this week! The girls were super excited to ride their assigned horses for the first time yesterday, even though they got a little bit wet. They are all looking forward to bonding with their horses and improving their riding skills over the next week and a half. Last night’s EP was Challenge Night where the girls were put in to teams to complete certain challenges such as best rapper, best fruit impression and smelliest shoe. They were excellent at working together as a team and showing off their talents.
Today the girls have started with a game of SPLAT with the whole of camp before splitting in to their riding groups to go either riding or to arts and crafts to release their creative sides. They did a variety of projects such as making dream catchers, painting murals and learning how to make new intricate friendship bracelets. This afternoon the girls who have not yet ridden today will be heading to the barn to groom, tack and ride! We’re keeping our fingers crossed for some blue skies!
Tonight’s EP is movie night, the perfect evening activity for a rainy day. We will be watching the Parent Trap – the best camp movie ever!
