Farm Camp keeps growing!
The summer might be over, but we’re not done here at the Farm! Many new things are happening in this fall – the time for change! Firstly – we would like to welcome a new addition to the Farm Camp Family – little Benjamin Chartier was born in the middle of September, weighing in at weighed 8 lbs 3 oz, and 21 inches long. Beth brought home an addition to the Barn as well – a new LLAMA!!! (Photo coming soon!) I had to add the photo above of Matt because all of my campers this summer helped to plant the Alien Garden – we planted tiny little bean plants and morning glories… no one expected that they would literally take over the plant tee-pee! So thanks to all of you guys out there that helped on this – so cool to see it finally done!
As you probably know, after the summer chaos is done, we work hard the rest of the year to make next summer even better! I know, speaking for myself, that I would love to get some feedback on what people liked/didn’t like about this summer. Feel free to email either John (jchartier@frostvalley.org) or myself (leighmcgonagle@gmail.com) to let us know what you think. I may come up with a survey to send out if that’s easier, but we’ll see what we get for responses first. So if you (as a parent or camper) have any fun ideas, other things to incorporate or think about for next year – let us know! We love to hear from you! (And I can tell you that little Hannah misses everyone too – John says she asks to go to the Dining Hall to see everyone all the time but there isn’t anyone there… until next summer anyway!)
