Farm Programs begin!
Today was our first full day of Farm Camp activities! We all signed up for a week long specialty class, such as Advanced Animal Care for our returning campers, Garden Investigation, Earth Works, and Sports and Games. And of course Gaga Ball was a huge hit to play for choice time! Hannah took us on a hike into the woods and taught us about the survival of the animals who share the farm habitat with us. We learned how to hide and track like these animals! We had a lot of fun running like the deer and finding the red eft newts who are waiting to grow up and live in our pond. We also had an exciting moment when a huge amount of frog eggs hatched right next to the youngest boys’ yurt! We had thousands of baby frogs hopping around the farm!
