Maine Coasterssssssss!

And the much anticipated Maine Coast check-in is here! Everyone on the trip is doing well. They are looking forward to having a big feast tonight, finishing their packed food before heading home tomorrow. Monday’s weather was gorgeous and the sea kayaking well worth it. The 2 islands the group stayed on were beautiful. Tuesday and today were foggy, resulting in not as much paddling yesterday. The group hugged the coast line and swam for a while yesterday, and headed back to the main shore today. Finally, the group loved the food their guides cooked for them (thanks Molly & Liz!!).

Tonight they are happily settled into the campground and will be doing a sunrise bus drive up Cadillac Mountain before heading on back to Frost Valley.

Born and raised in Wisconsin, Zach couldn't keep himself out of the woods when growing up. He started working at a Northern Wisconsin YMCA Camp as a wilderness trip leader while in college and fell in love with getting kids into nature.
