Mustang: East + West!
The mustang girls have had a busy few days, full of activities like gymnastics, tie dye and low ropes! They have really been enjoying waterfront and of course riding. In their lessons they have had a combination of trails and arena time, which they really enjoy. They play loads of games in their arena time, including ‘what’s the time mr fox’ and ‘red light, green light’, which always ends up with lots of laughing but it is aiding in their learning too which is great!
Last night the girls got to go and visit our East Valley Ranch location which is 14 miles over the mountain. It is an all girls summer camp which is more focused on horses, but they have their own ropes courses and arts and crafts building etc. It is for girls aged 10-15, so we wanted the Mustang girls to get a chance to see it incase they are old enough to go there next year! They had an awesome time having Challenge Night with the EVR girls, which included competitions like, smelliest shoe and best dancer!
Today the girls are beginning to pack up their stuff in preparation for leaving tomorrow, which they are not happy about, because they don’t want to leave! (we don’t want them to leave yet either!!) But then they are heading to waterfront so that should make them all cheerful again! Then riding of course this afternoon, which is everyones favorite activity!
Tonight we have closing campfire and an ice cream party to celebrate what a great time they have all had in Mustang!
