PAC Overnight Day 1

In 2006 one of my first duties beginning 3rd session was to be a PAC counselor. My very first day on the job was PAC’s overnight! I went from not knowing where Hird Lodge was to having one of the most amazing bonding experiences I’ve ever had here at Frost Valley.

Here are some snapshots of PAC 2010’s overnight at Merrill Pavilion! I expect nothing less than one of the most amazing bonding experiences these guys will ever have. I was able to spend a little time with these guys just before they ate dinner…as you can see in the next photo they were all lined up around the camp fire itching for some delicious pita pizzas! One of my former campers from 2006 is now a PAC counselor himself it was nice to see him having very similar philosophical discussions with his PAC campers now.

Morgan Theze

Born in New York but raised in Ireland, Morgan has spent every summer he can remember flying back to the US to attend summer camps. Over the years that Morgan worked at a well-regarded private camp in Maine, he took on many roles including Cabin Counselor, Head of Rocks and Ropes, Program Director, and Operations Director. Morgan began working at Frost Valley as a program instructor in 2014, leading activities for our schools and weekend programs, before becoming our Director of Camp Henry Hird. Campers at Camp Henry Hird range in age from 13 to 16. Morgan loves working with this age group as he finds that this is the time of their life where they form into unique individuals and discover the values that they will hold with them for the rest of their lives.
