Susky Forest Overnight and FV Olympix Announcements!

This is a special announcement from the Wellness Center…Wawayanda officially has Olympix fever! We were so so excited to hear about the 2017 Olympix coaches and countries today after lunch. We even had a dance party to celebrate! Meanwhile, this afternoon, our Susky Forest campers made the best of a thundery situation and moved indoors for their overnight experience. Don’t worry, Susky and Forest still had the chance to try pita pizzas and s’mores while their counselors got creative and hosted a lip sync for Susky and Challenge Night for Forest.

Ashley Loftus

Ashley is in her third year working at Frost Valley YMCA. Hailing from Co.Waterford in Ireland, Ashley is on an 18 month training visa, working as the Assistant Wawayanda Director in Summer and as a Program Instructor year round. Her background is in digital media with a degree in Digital Media and Communications from the University of Wolverhampton. Ashley found herself working for theater companies and after school programs for youth's and sought some new experiences here in the States that would fulfill her passion for working with young people and in the outdoors.
