Accomplishment would be the word of the day. Everyone successfully made it up and over Wildcat Mountain and back into Frost Valley just in time for afternoon free swim. Even with a quick stop at the farm to check out the animals, Adventure Village made it back in great time. Great job everyone.

Challenge Night was a hit for everyone tonight. A variety of challenges are given to the different teams and each team picks who they think will be best at the challenge. It is defiantly a camp favorite.

As the campers were making there way back to the village it looks like everyone will sleep well tonight. A tiring but rewarding day. Time to gear up for mini-trips on Sunday!

Born and raised in Wisconsin, Zach couldn't keep himself out of the woods when growing up. He started working at a Northern Wisconsin YMCA Camp as a wilderness trip leader while in college and fell in love with getting kids into nature. The smiles on kids faces after returning from a once in a life time wilderness experience is why he is here today. Zach brought his talents to Frost Valley YMCA, in 2014, when he started as the Trips Coordinator and soon was promoted to Adventure Director. Zach loves all forms of Wilderness exploration, though some would say his heart lies most with canoeing.
