Hoofbeats – The children hopped straight off the buses and out of their cars and headed straight to the barn where they met all of the Frost Valley horses and barn staff, they all had an evaluation ride, to enable the barn staff to match each child with a horse that suits their personality as well as their riding style, they will be matched with that horse for the next 2 weeks. It’s a great opportunity for the kids to learn responsibility because it is almost as if they have their own horse for 2 weeks as they get to take care of it! After lunch the kids headed down to waterfront and after learning all the rules of the area, they had a great time splashing around and soaking their counselors!!

Western Adventures – The children headed straight to the barn after they arrived and had their evaluation rides so the barn staff could match them with a horse that suits their personality and riding style, they will be matched to that horse for the next 6 weeks. After lunch some of the kids played in the lake and others decided they would rather play one of our most popular games Ga-Ga! They are all looking forward to finding out their assigned horses tomorrow and getting on with their lessons!!
