Last Day Dinners and Core Value Ceremonies

We couldn’t be happier with how session two went! There was so much energy and spirit in the air at Frost Valley, it radiated from opening campfire to the olympix all the way through closing campfire. Wawayanda this session was huge, so many campers around made each moment unique and full of life.  A new tradition we’ve started this year is having a core values ceremony for all of Wawayanda on the last afternoon of the session. Campers are given certificates and stickers that represent which core value they displayed throughout the session, they then get together in their core value groups to discuss the meaning of the values and paint murals. At dinner tonight, campers from each value group got up and talked about their core value and what it meant to them. The last night always carries a reflective tone, and while we wish second session didn’t have to end we’re so excited for session three!

We want to wish all the families and campers safe trips home, we can not wait to see all of the new campers on Sunday!

Love,

The Wawayanda Directors
