Mustang: Catching our dreams!
HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!
Last night the mustang girls had a great time playing musical and acting games in the theater, with pokey/totem and mini mac; which are 2 other villages at Frost Valley. It was cool for the girls to hang out with mini mac in particular because it is our mainstreaming at camp program for kids with special needs; the kids benefit and learn Frost Valley’s core values of inclusiveness and diversity.
The first activity for Mustang this morning was making dream catchers in the nature room. The girls seem to love the arts and crafts activities we do here, so there will definitely be more in the schedule next week! They headed back to Hayden lodge, unraveled their tie dye creations and then headed up to lunch.
Today the weather prevailed and the girls got to have their lessons! Their riding is really improving, especially their control and steering! The girls even helped with tacking and untacking their horses.
Tonight the girls are looking forward to getting mucky in the night hike and Frost Valley’s game of camouflage.
This weekend, the schedule is being switched up a bit, so it should be interesting.
We will also be celebrating 4th of July on Sunday!!
