Mustang Off to a Great Start!
Today has started off great in Mustang Village. The girls went to waterfront this morning and enjoyed all of the great activities available including the trampoline, inflatable climbing wall, multiple swimming areas, boating and canoeing. Girls went from area to area to try everything and discover which waterfront activity they like the best! After heading to the lodge to change, Mustang had the chance to try an English version of softball called “Rounders”. We have several staff from England who love to share a bit about their culture and sports with the girls. It is a great activity that requires running and team work to win! Even the staff got involved and challenged each other to score the most goals.
This afternoon the girls will head back to the barn. It is an exciting afternoon at the barn as the girls will be assigned to their new lesson groups, & meet their instructor and horse for the session. Everyone is anticipating finding out who their new horse will be. They already have favorites from meeting all the horses yesterday! Our barn manager has worked hard to assign the best horse match for each camper, and we hope they will all be excited for their new partners.
Tonight Mustang heads to Frost Valley’s 50 foot climbing tower to try their skills at rock climbing. It is a fun and challenging evening activity where every girl is encouraged to get as high as they can. Check SmugMug for pictures tomorrow!
