I’ve never had a bad day that begins with ice cream and waffles for brunch, and today was certainly not an exception. After taking the morning to rest and relax, our Hird campers split up into their Olympix teams to learn cheers, make banners, and learn about their country’s culture. This year’s teams include Japan, Australia, Singapore, Lithuania, Poland, England, Paraguay, and Brazil. After dinner, the Hird joined our other camp programs for the opening ceremony where each country presented a cultural performance and introduced themselves. Tomorrow is sure to be spirit-filled and olympix-tastic!
