Where does this program take place?

Anywhere would work, but ideally we would be at Frost Valley’s campus or in a large space like a gymnasium in your school. We need access to an appropriate space for our physical activities. Location will need to be confirmed with the Frost Valley representatives.

Has the program worked?

Yes.  We have tested the success of No Room for Bullying! And have calculated the following statistics:

85% of students involved met some new students.

71% stated they made a new friend.

80% stated they had fun.

50% stated they learned something new about themselves.

55% stated they will behave differently after the No Room for Bullying! Experience.

What role does the school staff play through this process?

The activities are fully facilitated by the Frost Valley staff. We ask that the school staff assist with behavior management, but really we want to focus on the students their voices are heard and their choices lead to developing appropriate and responsible action plans.  If the program takes place at the school, the school staff is in charge of logistics, such as lunch and/ or snacks, and providing access to the facilities.  The most important role of the school is to work with the suggestions created during the experience.  This program on its own will help to create a better community, but only when combined with you actions back at school, can bullying fully be eliminated.
