Session 2 Adventure Trips

All trips have arrived safe & sound at their destinations! The blog updates for trips this session will happen as follows:

Boots & Boats: Saturday evening (sorry moms, dads & guardians at home – they are really out there in the woods and cell phones don’t work as well!)

Maine Coast: Wednesday night (July 20), Sunday night (July 24) & Wednesday night (July 27)

Rhode Island Animal Adventures: Wednesday night (July 20), Sunday night (July 24) & Wednesday night (July 27)

Habitat Adirondacks: Wednesday night (July 20), Sunday night (July 24) & Wednesday night (July 27)

Please note: trips check-in during the evening time, once activities have wrapped up for the day. This means posts won’t be out until later in the evening on each day. All trip pictures will be posted when trips RETURN back to camp (typically we have them all up by Monday August 1st at the latest).

Zach eigenbrodt

Born and raised in Wisconsin, Zach couldn't keep himself out of the woods when growing up. He started working at a Northern Wisconsin YMCA Camp as a wilderness trip leader while in college and fell in love with getting kids into nature. The smiles on kids faces after returning from a once in a life time wilderness experience is why he is here today. Zach brought his talents to Frost Valley YMCA, in 2014, when he started as the Trips Coordinator and soon was promoted to Adventure Director. Zach loves all forms of Wilderness exploration, though some would say his heart lies most with canoeing.
