In early April, Frost Valley launched a staff wide photo contest.  To order to encourage the staff to spend more time enjoying out beautiful surroundings and the outdoors, the contest was geared specifically towards photos of nature.  The categories were the following: Macro, Forest, Water, Sky and Best Overall. Over 20 photos submitted and were displayed in the dining room, where staff could vote for their favorite photos. The winners were chosen on April 28th.  Enjoy the photos from the winning submissions below: Macro: Alex Ritzheimer DSC_0202 Sky: Tie for first- Dawn D'Auria and Talya Shlang IMG_2483 Screen Shot 2017-03-22 at 4.04.27 PM   Forest: Carmel Dorn IMG_1207   Water and Best Overall: Talya Shlang Puddle

About the Author

Frost Valley YMCA

Frost Valley YMCA is a 5,500-acre, year-round camp - There's something for everyone here in the Valley. From group and family retreats to sleepaway camps to horse camps to teambuilding, we've got you covered. School groups love taking a three-night field trip to explore the natural world and learn about the environment and their classmates. Family weekends are the perfect getaway for the young and the young at heart. Teambuilding retreats afford corporate, collegiate, religious, and other groups the opportunity to challenge themselves and effectively work toward common goals. In the summertime we're where kids and teens gain independence, explore the world, and make lifelong friends through various camps such as traditional sleepaway camp, farm camp, horse camp, adventure trips, Bear Grylls Survival camp, and day camp.
