The Final Day of EVR Session A!!

The last full day of EVR Session A definitely ended with a bang. The girls spent the morning in arts and crafts making friendship bracelets for one another and then headed to the barn for the last time of this session. They brought their horses in from the paddock and made sure to take lots of pictures of their ponies to show everyone back home. Then, they learned about food and nutrition, and vet care in their morning ground lessons – there were a whole lot of polo wrapped arms and legs!

After lunch, they spent the afternoon, grooming, tacking and taking care of their horses. The lessons were by far the best of the week. Games were played and every single camper was confidently trotting by the end of the day! As the arena lesson was  such a great success, we took the girls on an extended trail ride that has a tough river crossing through the Neversink – all the girls LOVED it.

The evening was host to Frost Valley’s very first East vs. West competition night! This was by far the best night of the session. Faces were painted, cheers were yelled, and EVERY girl had a great night. Check out some of the pictures to be uploaded soon,  staff members were made up and dressed up by the kids, there were sack races, three legged races, baton races, cheer-offs and SO MUCH MORE!!!

We all cannot believe that Session A has come to an end. It was an AMAZING first session for EVR and I am almost positive that most of the girls want to return for a full session some day!

WE LOVE EVR!!!!!!!
