This year at Winter Camp we are taking a new twist on celebrating our character with values beads.

How values beads work during winter camp is simple. Celebrating our values is a core component of our camp programs.  Value beads allow for every camper and staff member the opportunity to acknowledge all the good things people in their cabin have done. At any point in time during the session, a person is able to show they notice someone else practicing a value by giving them a bead from one of our eight core values. Campers and staff can take that bead and put it on a necklace or bracelet that they can proudly wear.

We’ve had great success doing this program at Farm Camp. We are excited for Winter Camp to do it as well.

Our eight core values are honesty, community, caring diversity, responsibility, inclusiveness, respect, and stewardship.
