Hey Parents, Guardians and Friends Out There!

Welcome to the Adventure Blog. Below is a list of when blog entries will be posted for each Adventure Event. Please remember that adventure trips are not always in perfect cell phone reception, and some entries might be a bit short! Also, Adventure Village pictures are posted almost daily, where Adventure TRIPS pictures are posted at the END of the trip, once all of the campers have returned!

Adventure Village: Blog update pretty much every night until they leave for mini-trips (Sunday). Entries are paused during mini-trips and resume again on Wednesday when everyone returns home.

West Virginia White Water: Thursday AM (Aug. 12), Monday AM (Aug. 16), and the following Thursday AM (Aug. 19)

Rocks & Ropes: Tuesday PM (Aug. 10), Saturday AM (August 14)

Adirondack Rambler: Thursday AM (Aug. 12), Monday AM (Aug. 16), and the following Thursday AM (Aug. 19) [ Please note, the cell phone reception for this group is not great!!]

Habitat Adirondack: Thursday AM (Aug. 12), Monday AM (Aug. 16), and the following Thursday AM (Aug. 19)

Zach eigenbrodt

Born and raised in Wisconsin, Zach couldn't keep himself out of the woods when growing up. He started working at a Northern Wisconsin YMCA Camp as a wilderness trip leader while in college and fell in love with getting kids into nature. The smiles on kids faces after returning from a once in a life time wilderness experience is why he is here today. Zach brought his talents to Frost Valley YMCA, in 2014, when he started as the Trips Coordinator and soon was promoted to Adventure Director. Zach loves all forms of Wilderness exploration, though some would say his heart lies most with canoeing.
