I found the Habitat Adirondacks crew in their campsite last night as they were finishing a dinner of Mac & Cheese with tuna. They have a beautiful site right by the water and withing walking distance of the showers (this made them very happy). This morning they enjoyed some cereal before heading to the Ampersand Avenue house for their first day of work. I joined them this morning for some landscaping, drainage improvements, and clean up.

Drainage improvements

I left them as they were eating lunch at the local park. This afternoon they were going to continue with the drainage and landscaping work and so some concrete pouring for the doorways. Tomorrow they will have the day off for Independence Day. There are parades, concerts, and fireworks all day in Saranac Lake and Lake Placid. I hope your weather is as good as ours and look back in a couple of days for more updates and photos.

Campsite, close to the water sounds great, especially after a day of hard work. Have fun everyone.

I think I speak for all parents, when I say that we would greatly appreciate a full and complete update on the workings of the Habitat ADK group, with a group photo.
