Our White Mountain group has climbed and biked so far on their journey.  Despite some rain yesterday, the group still had a chance to climb and rappell, although they did have to leave the site early due to the weather.  Several campers really pushed themselves, even though they were nervous with the heights or with the biking portion.  Biking today also had some great trails and the campers enjoyed being on “real” mountain biking trails.  Epic Uno games have ensued at the campground and the group was proud of starting a campfire last night on their own and devouring a bunch of marshmallows as a reward!

Our next update will be Sunday evening – check in then to hear more news!

About the Author

Zach eigenbrodt

Born and raised in Wisconsin, Zach couldn't keep himself out of the woods when growing up. He started working at a Northern Wisconsin YMCA Camp as a wilderness trip leader while in college and fell in love with getting kids into nature. The smiles on kids faces after returning from a once in a life time wilderness experience is why he is here today. Zach brought his talents to Frost Valley YMCA, in 2014, when he started as the Trips Coordinator and soon was promoted to Adventure Director. Zach loves all forms of Wilderness exploration, though some would say his heart lies most with canoeing.
