2 week trips update!
The 2 week trips have been keeping busy this past week.
Our Maine Coast trip started off with 2 days of biking the beautiful carriage roads around Acadia National Park. They then continued their adventures rock climbing the Otter Cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The last half of the trip will be spent kayaking the coast and seeing the true beauty that Maine has to offer.
The Adirondack Rambler has spent the last 5 days on the water exploring all the nooks and cranny’s these lakes have to offer. The first day was spent white water rafting, which was a complete rush. They then slowed the pace down a bit and canoed around the St. Regis Canoe Wilderness. They will spend the next few days exploring the high peaks and then finish their trip climbing.
Habitat for Humanity has been extremely busy working at the Restore. They have been busy fixing different electronic devices, refinishing furniture, and recycling scrap metal. On their days off they spent it rock climbing in the Mohonk Preserve and biking through the Minnewaska Preserve. They finish the week off strong at the Restore continuing to give back to the community.
We will blog again once all of our trips return home safely. Also all of our photo’s will be put up at the end of the session.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Born and raised in Wisconsin, Zach couldn't keep himself out of the woods when growing up. He started working at a Northern Wisconsin YMCA Camp as a wilderness trip leader while in college and fell in love with getting kids into nature. The smiles on kids faces after returning from a once in a life time wilderness experience is why he is here today. Zach brought his talents to Frost Valley YMCA, in 2014, when he started as the Trips Coordinator and soon was promoted to Adventure Director. Zach loves all forms of Wilderness exploration, though some would say his heart lies most with canoeing.
