4-Week: Bareback day and Safari!
The yurt 4 girls have had a busy weekend here at EVR! Saturday was bareback day where everyone got to ride without a saddle so they could have a closer feel as to how horses move. The girls really enjoyed this and were superstars as they helped get all the horses groomed in the morning ready for riding. The girls cooled off on the slip and slide in the afternoon and then went on a night hike!
After a well deserved sleep in on Sunday and girls enjoyed a brunch of waffles and ice cream before preparing for theme day. This sessions’ theme was Safari so all of camp dressed up as animals. The effort was outstanding! Face paint could be seen everywhere and the tribal dances were on point. Next everyone joined in for a group game of Cheetah in a tree where everyone had to act out skits such as hippos bathing in the mud and giraffes sky diving. After snack we headed to the waterhole for rest hour followed by a visit to farm camp! Fun was had dancing, playing gaga and carpet ball with the farm camp campers! EVR then heading back home on the tractor to get a good nights sleep before the start of Week 2.
