8th Graders From Colombia Secondary Learn about the Watershed (Video)
Last year 8th graders from Colombia Secondary came to frost valley to learn about the the New York State watershed. This group of students even met with local school children from Tri-Valley Central School District to discuss what they’ve learned – a great opportunity for thoughtful discussion and debate about a critical topic.
For an inside peek of what an educational field trip to Frost Valley is like, take a look at the below video from the Watershed Agricultural Council, which so generously provides educational grants for programs like this. Please note: the only part of this video that takes place at Frost Valley is shown in minute one through two of the video; the rest is about other amazing services that the Watershed Agricultural Council provides!
If your school or group is interested in experiential lessons about the science, history, and protection of our watershed, contact us about planning and booking trip or visit our school trips page to learn more!
