Amarri Smallwood

Amarri was born and raised in the Southside of Chicago but has lived in the Northeast since 2020. Amarri graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2019 with a Bachelors of Science in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Before working as an Outdoor Instructor for Frost Valley in January of 2024, they worked as a Village Coordinator and Program Instructor at Camp Jewell YMCA in Colebrook, CT. Having fun with youth and seeing them grow in short periods of time is what motivates them to do a good job. Amarri loves music, the color blue, sweet potato sushi, and everything about Chicago.
