Growing up in his home state of Pennsylvania, Dan DeChellis acquired a love of the outdoors at an early age. He enjoys hiking, fishing, camping, and really anything that involves spending time outside. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Outdoor Recreation Services Management from East Stroudsburg University. Dan has worked for Frost Valley since 2011 and has worn many hats within the organization. His roles have involved working for various departments including School Programs, Group and Family Retreats, Adventure, Bear Grylls Survival Academy, Teambuilding, Farm Camp, and has worked in the Natural Resources department since 2015 as a Coordinator until 2021 when he was promoted to Director of Natural Resources. Dan loves working for an organization that provides people with a space to foster their own personal connection with nature.
