Jen Dresdow

Jen earned her BS in Psychology and Sociology from ASU. She began her career as a Camp Counselor in Minnesota during college, where she worked for three summers and advanced to the position of Riding Director. For the past 15 summers, Jen has served as the Assistant Director at a private, traditional girls’ camp in Maine. During the off-season, she has worked in the education field.

When her daughter was growing up, Jen was actively involved with the Interscholastic Equestrian Association and horse showing. She coached a team and taught lessons. Now, with her daughter away at college, Jen enjoys solo traveling. She has visited Mexico, Cuba, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, and Canada. When she’s not on larger trips, she loves going on small hikes and spending time outdoors. Additionally, she enjoys making coffee for friends, baking, reading, and crocheting.

Jen is deeply committed to the partnership that camp professionals establish with parents. She takes their trust very seriously, and she strives to foster that relationship by creating the best possible outdoor experience for their child. She is also passionate about developing strong staff teams and helping staff reach their goals during their time at camp.

Jen chose to join the Frost Valley staff team because she was impressed by the strong infrastructure and leadership at Frost Valley, as well as the commitment to inclusiveness and growth.
