Chief Development Officer
Mania has over 30 years’ experience as a dedicated leader in nonprofit development and management. She has closed many 7 figure gifts, and prospected and worked integrally with direct response teams. Mania was Vice President of Development at American Jewish World Service, and was previously Executive Vice President of Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. She has worked at a number of additional organizations that raise money for a wide variety of causes including YMCA, ORBIS International, and God’s Love We Deliver (where she worked with our own Giselle Holloway) among many others. Mania has a BA in Criminal Justice from Hunter College, is a past Board member of Women in Development, and is fluent in French. She fled Egypt as a small child with her parents and lived in Paris before they all came to the United States. She understands our work, our mission, and is a seasoned fundraiser and leader with great ideas about the future.
