Assistant Director of Program Innovation
Olivia is originally from Warrenton, Virginia but has also lived in Pennsylvania, Kansas, Ohio, Kentucky and New York. She earned her undergraduate degree in English from Radford University and completed her Master of Liberal Studies degree from Empire State College in 2014. Olivia has taught pre-school through college level classes and also has a background in case management, grant administration and served as the SUNY Sullivan Teaching and Technology Center facilitator. She completed the Master Gardener certification program through Cornell Cooperative Extension and has helped to start three community gardens in Sullivan County.
Olivia started working as the Assistant Director of Program Innovation in 2015 and her job includes working with the staff at the greenhouse and main campus garden, the Teaching Kitchen and acquiring and making the healthy snack bus a part of Frost Valley’s new tradition at summer and family camp. She also facilitates the Healthy Family Weekend Retreats in collaboration with other non-profit agencies from New Jersey. Her hobbies include kayaking, hiking, camping, playing music, reading, writing, and traveling. Olivia has traveled around the U.S. twice and looks forward to having the opportunity to travel again as she maintains a blog on her adventures. She is a published author.
