Carol Wright

I am a Frost Valley alum who attended camp from 1980-1990. I was a camper for 5 years in Camp Hird (Tacoma and Windsong), then a CIT, and a counselor.

After 3 years I’ve left Microsoft and now work at Splunk.  I’m very excited to be Splunk’s Academic Alliance Program Lead. Formerly, I was a technical portfolio manager at Microsoft who supported the advancement of next-generation technology through learning and development programs. I joined Microsoft as a tech-savvy former college professor with over 15 years of experience committed to improving the quality, efficacy and delivery of equitable education in public, private, K-12, University and corporate settings. I hold a Ph.D. in Education Policy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, an MA from Teachers College, Columbia University, a BA from Lafayette College and graduated high school from the United Nations International School (UNIS) in New York City. I live in Brooklyn, NY and can often be seen running in Prospect Park.
