AdVill – A Camper’s Tale
So today, tried something a little different for the blog entry! We asked the campers what they would say if they were writing the blog. Here are two of the top entries:
“Today we did so much in Adventure Village. However, in my opinion, the MAC (mainstreaming at camp – working with campers with developmental disabilities) hike was the most fun. It was great meeting the MAC Village and playing games like telephone with them. It is amazing how well they can participate in everyday activities and I learned so much working with them. They were very nice and you can tell they are having the time of their lives at Frost Valley. I hope we can see them again in the near future!”
A Decadent Decision.”
Have a great night everyone!

Zach eigenbrodt
Born and raised in Wisconsin, Zach couldn't keep himself out of the woods when growing up. He started working at a Northern Wisconsin YMCA Camp as a wilderness trip leader while in college and fell in love with getting kids into nature. The smiles on kids faces after returning from a once in a life time wilderness experience is why he is here today. Zach brought his talents to Frost Valley YMCA, in 2014, when he started as the Trips Coordinator and soon was promoted to Adventure Director. Zach loves all forms of Wilderness exploration, though some would say his heart lies most with canoeing.
