Almost there!
Good Evening from East Valley Ranch! Things are going well here in the valley! Sunday we had our theme day, EVR-Stock: Making the World a Better Place. Campers enjoyed making flower crowns, painting flower pots, making nature instruments, and taking a long nature hike. After our evening cookout, campers each performed songs with their hand-made nature instruments and ended the evening with the heart-warming classic, Dolphin Tale.
Throughout this week campers have enjoyed more advanced riding lessons, some trail riding, and more in depth ground lessons. Horses aside, on Monday evening our 2-week campers had their overnight! Aside from a slightly damp wake-up everyone had a great time. Campers also got to do Pegasus, Leap of Faith, High Ropes, Archery, Boating, and more this week.
Today was our long awaited 4-week rodeo! Our 4-week campers have worked hard with their horses their entire camp experience and finally got to show off their skills with a game of transitions and barrel racing. Afterwards they planned an entire circus full of mini games with tickets and prizes. We couldn’t be prouder of all of their hard work.
