Al’s photos on the last day of session 1

A cloudy, humid day but full of happy emotions. The end of the first two weeks session. Everyone was into getting the last good bit of fun out of the program schedule, but also reflective, communal, pre-nostalgic.

She bought a Project 332 t-shirt for her uncle.
Alma (smiling at us) is coming back for session 2.
As we walked past the Sacky cabins and approached Quirk, Hyde & Watson and Friendship House, Banks Hill in the distance came into view.

In the Gottscho Kidney Dialysis Unit, they were having a “charts party.” Two of these folks are pediatric nephrologists. This is unbelievably good oversight for our kids associated with the kidney program.
Two of my favorite Outpost campers came by and wanted a picture with me. They both told me how sad they were to be leaving camp. But they’ll be back.

Lew and Nomi are the recipients of a group hug from cabin 23. Lew has been coming to FV as a nephrologist since 1979! He and Nomi, this year, brought with them from Israel three boys (in PAC village) who had had kidney transplants and wanted to have a mainstreamed experience at camp in the U.S. The project has been a huge success. Aviv, Bar and Stiven all say they want to come back in 2018.
