The Camp You Love
There are many opportunities to help Frost Valley YMCA provide enriching outdoor experiences to all people, regardless of their age, ability, or finances. We always need volunteers to tackle all sorts of necessary jobs, like trailblazing, painting, cleaning up and clearing out, building, and special projects. We also invite former counselors to come back during the summer season to support current summer staff and share with campers the best games, stories, and songs from the past.

Volunteer Work Weekends
November 6-8, 2026
Spend the weekend at Frost Valley giving back to the camp you love. Arrive on Friday night for a campfire briefing. Be prepared for a full, eight-hour volunteer work day on Saturday, involving a variety of projects. Enjoy our Sunday morning camp programs after breakfast. Volunteers must be at least 13 years old. Children under 13 must be accompanied by a non-volunteer adult. All meals and camp-style lodging are provided. Don’t forget to request bunking with your friends when booking. Volunteers will enjoy a reduced rate, which is currently $20 per person, to help with meals and project materials.

Projects have included:
- Painting and Maintenance Work at Frost Valley’s Farm
- Gardening
- Trail Maintenance at Main Camp
- Setting Up Platform Tents at Main Camp
- Building picnic tables, camp chairs and benches and other pieces to benefit camp
- Assisting the Camp Historian with the Historical Archives
