And They’re Off!

Bright and early this morning the Trip Center was buzzing with hiking boots and excited chatter as the Adventure Trips packed their final belongings and set out for Maine, Vermont, West Virginia, and the Adirondacks!

Adventure Village spent the day learning how to build fires, playing games, and cooling off by the creek or at the waterfront. In-store for the evening, the village will enjoy a fun post-dinner storytelling around a fire at “Project X,” Adventure Camp’s own secret campsite created by past Adventure campers.

It’s been a great and adventurous first few days of Session Two, and we couldn’t be more excited for the rest!

Russell Frisch

Russell started his time at Frost Valley as a camper in Forest Village in 2005 and has been here ever since. He was a camper in Adventure Village, Farm Camp, and on Teen Adventure Trips before becoming an AiT and eventually a staff member in Adventure Village. He worked as the Village Coordinator for Adventure Village before working as the Assistant Adventure Director for two summers. He is very excited to be working as Adventure Director for the first time this year.
