Bigger wheels.
The Action Sports Tour has been rolling on some bigger wheels the last few days. They spent Thursday afternoon and night at Pete’s Pavilion mountain boarding and enjoying the view. There were some thrills, some spills, and pita pizzas over the fire for dinner. They enjoyed a thunderstorm as it rolled across the mountains, slept in the pavilion, and got one last shot at mountain boarding on Friday morning.
Friday afternoon, they headed to Skate Time 209 for a little serious skateboarding. Then it was back to camp for a cooling dip in the lake. After dinner, we took them for a little surprise visit to our team high ropes course. They struggled through some sections, but came out a force to be reckoned with by the end.
Saturday was their first day of mountain biking at Plattekill Mountain. When the boys came back to camp for dinner, they were talking non-stop about how great their day was. Whether it was a story about getting some air or eating some dirt, they loved every second of it.
Sunday will give them another chance to test their biking skills as they head back to Plattekill. Then on Monday they will be skating and building a new feature for our skating area. There will be another update in a few days so check back soon.
